Gaffney Police are looking for a man who held up the Banana Republic store at Prime Outlets.
Investigators say a man was shopping in the store for about 40 minutes before the robbery happened Tuesday night. The suspect left the store, but returned with a note that stated "put the money in the bag, I have a gun" according to the incident report.
The suspect then demanded money from the other register and left the store on Factory Shops Blvd at 8:15 p.m. He was described as a white man, 25 to 32 years old. He is 5'5', 150 pounds and has brown hair. The suspect was wearing a black coat and black pants at the time of the robbery.
Witnesses say the robber left the store and got into a small red SUV - possibly a Ford Escape - that had tinted windows on the back.
Gaffney Police say there is surveillance video from a Timberland store near the Banana Republic. If you have any information, call Gaffney Police.
