The Henderson County parents accused of kidnapping their child after the Department of Social Services became involved had their bonds reduced from $25,000 to $10,000.
The parents accused of kidnapping their child after the Department of Social Services became involved were in Henderson County Superior Court Friday afternoon.
Henry and Cathy Hollenbeck had a motion hearing to reduce their bonds from $25,000 to $10,000 and District Court Judge allowed the motion, but added the condition that couple not have contact with their daughter. The Hollenbeck's have been charged with felony child abduction after they allegedly took their 10-month old daughter, who was in their custody on a trial basis, and fled to Wyoming without notifying DSS authorities.
Earlier this year, the Hollenbeck's daughter was placed into custody of the Department of Social Services as a result of a hearing. On May 7, the child was put into the couple custody on a trial basis and DSS says they failed to comply with the plan established.
