A Anderson County animal control officer charged with animal cruelty was released from custody Saturday afternoon.
Wade Patterson and his wife, Faith, were charged with 92 counts of ill treatment to animals Friday by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office. Patterson was taken into custody, while his wife remained at AnMed health Medical Center where she had been admitted.
Anderson County investigators obtained warrants for their arrest following an investigation into their activities involved in running a pet adoption business in Liberty.
Wade Patterson was released on personal recognizance bonds of $1,092 for each count. Faith Patterson remained at AnMed and will be served with warrants when she is released.
