Dozens of Tires Slashed at Greenville Apartment Complex

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Several residents woke up Tuesday morning to find their tires slashed overnight outside a Greenville apartment complex.

"Somebody had came through the apartment complex and cut up some tires," Ernest Mayer said of the crime. "It's childish."

According to police reports, 11 cars were targeted each with multiple tires slashed at the Summit Place Apartments, on Summit Drive.

Resident Jacqueline Hemmingway says she lost her third shift job because she couldn't make it to work. "That's going to cost me $200 a tire and I have to replace three. And now I'm broke," Hemmingway said.

Greenville Police don't have any suspects but say if you have information call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
