An AMBER Alert has been canceled for a missing one month old child from North Charleston.
Acting on a tip, at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, North Charleston Police along with Summerville Police located one month old Angel Miguel Perez at a residence in Summerville. The infant was found unharmed.
19 year old Andrea Walker was arrested by police and charged with kidnapping.
North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor says Walker followed the infant's mother for more than two hours before taking the baby after she left it in her vehicle when she went into a North Charleston post office Monday. Pryor says investigators haven't figured out if Walker knew the family or why she decided to take the baby.
Walker is in the Charleston County Jail. The baby was taken to MUSC, for medical evaluation, where he was reunited with his mother and father.
Angel Perez is reunited with his parents early Wednesday morning after police found the baby in Summerville.
