The Spartanburg Sheriff's Office says at about 1:57 PM this afternoon Deputies were dispatched to a report of a Bank Robbery at the SunTrust Bank located at 7801 Warren A. Abernathy Highway in Spartanburg County, SC.
The suspect did not present a weapon and is described as a man, 40 to 50 years old, 5’10” to 6’1” tall, 220 to 240 lbs., mustache and goatee, salt & pepper hair.
He was wearing sunglasses, dark color button up shirt and a jean jacket.
Deputies say Previous previous reports that he left the scene in a silver in color Mazda Miata with a black in color convertible top or that he was in the company of a woman have turned out not to be accurate.
There is no getaway vehicle description or direction of travel away from the scene available.
