A wind advisory remains in effect through Friday for the mountains. Northwest winds of 15-30 mph are expected, with the higher elevations possibly seeing gusts of 40-50 mph.
High pressure settles in today, allowing us to see plenty of sunshine in the Upstate. Some snow showers remain possible in the northern mountains this morning, but partly to mostly sunny skies should prevail later today. Breezy and cooler conditions will stay with us. Those winds die down overnight, with chilly temperatures in place for Saturday morning.
Expect a nice warm-up with some sunshine through the rest of the weekend. A cold front arrives Monday with more clouds and a chance for showers. After a break on Tuesday, another system could bring rain and cooler weather for mid-week.
