Spartanburg Police Searching For Alleged ATM Robber

Spartanburg Public Safety is searching for a person who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint and then took the cash machine at a ATM.

The incident happened just before 9 pm at the Bank Of America on E. Main St. in Spartanburg. According to authorities, the man rode up on a dark colored bicycle, got off and then robbed a man at gunpoint and stole the cash machine out of the ATM.

Spartanburg Public Safety officers and Spartanburg County Sheriff K-9 officers searched surrounding areas for nearly an hour, but the suspect was not found.
The suspect is described as a man wearing black clothing and a mask and riding either a dark blue or black bicycle.

If anyone has any information about this incident, they are asked to call Spartanburg CrimeStoppers at 58-CRIME
