Anderson County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Spinx convenience store early Saturday morning.

Anderson County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Spinx convenience store early Saturday morning.

Anderson County officials say the incident happened around 3 am at the Spinx at 7605 Highway 76. Authorities say a man walked into the business and demanded money. The man then received the money and fired a shot inside the store.

There were no injuries and authorities tell News Channel 7 that the suspect is still being sought. There was no immediate description available on the identity of the suspect.
