Anderson County Crash Sends 3 to Hospital

A busy Upstate highway is back open following a three vehicle crash. The crash happened on Highway 24 in Anderson county near Interstate 85. Authorities at the scene said they shut down the highway for an hour after a pickup and a car collided head-on around 11 o'clock Thursday night. An SUV was also involved in the wreck. EMS took three people to the hospital. One person had to be cut from a vehicle.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
