In a prepared release, South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster announced that 57-year old James Brown, of Fairplay, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of criminal solicitation of a minor. Warrants allege that Brown, solicited sex from what he believed to be a 13 year old girl beginning March 29. In reality, he was communicating with an undercover Police Officer from the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety,

Two computers were seized from Brown's residence and the Oconee County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation. His arrest is the 175 for the Attorney General's Internet Predator Task Force.
