A 17-year old at the South Carolina School For The Deaf and The Blind was arrested and charged with assaulting a school employee.
Jeffrey O'Neil Rogers, of Easley, was arrested on Friday and charged with assault and battery by a student on a school employee.
According to our coverage partners at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal, a 42-year-old male employee of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind told deputies that he saw Rogers touch another male student on the buttocks Friday morning. The employee said he used sign language to tell Rogers to stop and get back to work.
The employee said Rogers then walked over and thrust his private area into the victim's face. The employee said he stood up, and Rogers body bumped him before making the sign of a gun with his hand and placing it on the employee's chin.
