Did you ever wonder how many people see you while you're driving? Well one local college grad is hoping the hundreds of eyes a day that see him driving will help start a new business.
It isn't your ordinary 1994 edition Chevy Blazer; it’s a canvas for advertising.
USC graduate Brandon Stephens is selling advertising space on his car. Brandon is a film major and graduated last December. He hasn't found a job from his studies but he is working at the mall for a little bit more than minimum wage. He's hoping his creativeness will lead to a career.
Brandon's plan is to sell all of the 1,050 square inch space on his car and then take a road trip to the west coast and document the whole thing online. He's mixing his film background with the marketing skills he learned during an internship.
The first ad will go on the back of his blazer this week courtesy of Drews of Greenville which is a contemporary furniture store.
Dan Drew says he was attracted to the idea by Brandon’s outside of the box thinking.
The ads will be on Brandon’s blazer as he drives around for the next year and 15,000 miles.
As part of the campaign, Brandon will also be putting his sponsors’ ads on various websites.
