COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A doctor says a pregnant woman in South Carolina had died from H1N1 flu shortly after giving birth.
University of South Carolina School of Medicine Dr. Anthony Gregg told WIS-TV that the woman had not received any kind of flu vaccine and her other children had gotten sick a few weeks before she died. Gregg says the baby was delivered healthy and has yet to show any signs of the flu.
Gregg says he can't release the woman's name or other information about her or her treatment because of health care privacy laws.
