Authorities are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened early Wednesday morning. The 911 call came in just before 1:00 a.m. from a home on Boscobel Road in the Sandy Springs Community of Anderson County.
News Channel 7's camera was there as emergency workers took a wounded man to a hospital by ambulance. Anderson County Sheriff's Deputies said the victim was visiting a friend when shots rang out, and he was hit in the leg and ankle.
The victim has non-life threatening injuries. No suspects have been named at this point. If you have information, call CrimeStoppers at 864-231-STOP.
