The Anderson County Coroner's Office has released the name of a man who was pinned under his own truck and killed. The accident happened on West Main Street in Williamston. The coroner identified the victm Tuesday night as 80-year-old Jack Wooten from Honea Path.
Emergency workers said Wooten had just left the 'Clock Restaurant' when he had a medical problem, lost control of the truck, and was thrown onto the road Tuesday afternoon.
The truck ran over him. Wooten died at Greenville Hospital System.
