Jetline, a supplier of customized promotional products, will locate a new facility in Gaffney and bring 100 jobs over the three months.

Company President Eric levin says Jetline could add up to 400 jobs over the next five years.

The South Carolina Department of Commerce, Cherokee County and the Upstate Alliance today announced the $3.5 million investment Tuesday morning in Cherokee County, where the jobless rate was 16.3% in August.

Applications for customer service representatives and in their production warehouse are already being taken now.

“In searching for a location for our facility, Cherokee County provided an excellent fit for our company, with its positive business environment, available labor force and exceptional market access. We appreciate all the support we’ve received from state and local officials,” said Eric Levin, president of Jetline in a written release.

Jetline plans to move its operations into the former Oxford Industries building in Gaffney. The company plans to begin production in the facility this month.

Individuals interested in job opportunities can contact the Gaffney Workforce Center at (864) 489-3112 or 133 Wilmac Road in Gaffney or visit www.sctechjobs.com.

Jetline was founded in 1997. Its clients include corporate, governmental and non-profit organizations. The company markets more than 1,000 promotional products through its nationwide network of distributors.
