Job Training Fair in Spartanburg

Spartanburg Area Regional Transit Agency (SPARTA) will be hosting a fair to help the unemployed on Friday October 9th. The goal of this event is to provide resources for those in Spartanburg who are searching for employment or want to further their education.

The Job Fair will be held at the Hangar – First Baptist Church’s parking lot on the 9th of October from 8:00am - 12:00pm. During the fair, attendees will connect with organizations and businesses in Spartanburg that specialize in career placement and education. Agencies already committed to attend so far are:

Employment Security Commission
Spartanburg County Adult Education Center
Urban League of the Upstate
Goodwill Job Connection
Career Source
United Way of the Piedmont
Upstate Fatherhood Coalition
Spartanburg Community College: Corporate and Community Education

Chick-Fil-A will also participate, providing lunch. There will be drawings for prizes and giveaways.
