Authorities arrested a wanted man late Tuesday night, who was traveling through the Upstate. Spartanburg County Sheriff's Deputies and the South Carolina Highway Patrol stopped a car on Interstate 85 near Highway 129 around 11:30 p.m.
Officers told News Channel 7, there were three people in the vehicle, including a man who was wanted in Charlotte for assault with a weapon.
23-year-old Jeremy Williams of Charlotte was booked into jail around four o'clock Wednesday morning. Authorities from North Carolina plan to pick him up.
