A 20 year old Piedmont man has been charged with felony dui after an accident early Saturday morning. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says Michael Holcombe was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima on Hester Store Road in Easley when he disregarded a stop sign and struck a vehicle operated by Douglas Dodgens. Pickens County coroner Kandy Kelley says the 57 year old Dodgens died of his injuries at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Holcombe was transported by ambulance to Greenville Memorial Hospital. The Highway Patrol says accident is still under investigation.
