The parents of a 10 month old child who was taken from Henderson County after an incident with the Department of Social Services have waived extradition and will return to the county.
Henderson County Sheriff's spokesman Charlie McDonald says that Henry and Cathy Hollenbeck have waived extradition during proceedings in Wyoming and should return to Henderson County within a few days.
Last week, the Henderson County Sheriff's Office put out warrants for the Hollenbeck's arrest after they discovered they had fled the area with their 10 month old child, Arizona, who was in their custody on a trial period. The Holllenbeck's and the child were located earlier this week by law enforcement officials in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and placed under arrest for child neglect. The child was placed into state custody.
Earlier this year, the child was removed from the Hollenback's home and later returned on a trial period.
In 2006, the Hollenback's had another child removed from their home and were charged with child neglect after investigators say the child was bitten by rats.
