CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A third person has been arrested in the investigation of a South Carolina woman whose remains were found in some woods several months after she disappeared.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that 31-year-old Terry Keith Williams of James Island was arrested Thursday and charged with obstruction of justice.
Police say Williams hindered the investigation in the disappearance and death of Katherine Waring.
Waring's skeletal remains were found in woods on Wadmalaw Island earlier this month. The 28-year-old Charleston woman had been missing since June 12.
Twenty-nine-year-old Ethan Mack of Johns Island and 30-year-old Heather Angelica Kamp of James Island were arrested earlier this month and charged with obstruction of justice and forgery in the investigation.
