The Greenville County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man who they say robbed a Spinx store using a screwdriver.

Jimmy Ray Edwards, 40, is charged with armed robbery at the Spinx location on Marue Drive in Greenville Saturday night.

Edwards was identified from witness accounts after deputies say he walked into the store holding a black and red screwdriver in his hand. Deputies say he pushed a store worker away from the cash register and took money from the register.

We're told Edwards got away in a burgundy colored Ford Expedition.

Edwards was arrested Tuesday and is charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He's being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on $75,000 bond.
