Williamston Police Searching For "Jason" Robbery Suspects

Williamston Police are searching for two people, including one who was wearing a "Jason" mask, after a robbery Wednesday night.

Williamston Police are searching for two people, including one who was wearing a "Jason" mask, after a robbery Wednesday night.

The two people entered the Fast Fuel convenience store on W. Main Street in Williamston around 10 pm, said Capt. Phillip Brown of the Williamston Police Department. Brown says the two people, including one woman wearing a hockey-style "Jason" halloween mask, entered the business, presented weapons and demanded money. According to the incident report, the clerk complied with the suspect's demands and placed money from the register onto the counter where they took the money and fled.

The first suspect is described is described as a black female wearing a "Jason" halloween mask, gloves, jeans and a bright multi-colored coat with a hood. The second suspect suspect is described as a black male wearing gloves, jeans, black and white shoes, a black jacket with a hood, a black ski mask and the word ProTec on the back of the jacket.

The incident occurred at the same Fast Fuel where a store employee died from a cardiac condition a few moments after he chased a juvenile shoplifting suspect from the store.
