Firefighters from the Spartanburg Fire Department were able to contain a fire Monday evening. The fire broke out about 6pm on Venture Blvd. When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was coming from one end of the complex. The fire was quickly contained, but not before other office suites near the blaze suffered some smoke or water damage.
There were no injuries in the blaze, which is still under investigation, but the firefighters who battled the fire had to be decontaminated. DHEC was called to the scene to help contain some runoff from putting out the fire.
