200 Corvettes Invade Landrum

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Nearly 200 Corvettes caused a traffic jam in a small Upstate community Wednesday afternoon.

The view from Air 7 showed a snake-like procession of Corvettes driving west on I-26.

The group of Corvette owners from both North and South Carolina and beyond made a pit stop in Landrum, SC before making their way to Bowling Green, Kentucky to the National Corvette Museum.

The National Corvette Caravan will bring about 5,000 Corvette owners to the museum.

“For those that don't know… know it's (national museum) the Mecca of gathering spots for Corvette people,” says Corvette owner Wayne Gary.

Corvette owners weren’t the only ones admiring the different vetts, the pit stop brought people out armed with their cameras to get some quick snapshots.
