We want to correct a story we reported about an incident involving a Jonesville Police Officer accused of wrongdoing. We reported officer James Owens is on leave and under investigation for an incident this past weekend. The police report states that Owens provided alcohol to minors. The report also states a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted. Owens is not a suspect in that alleged assault. We are happy to correct the story and will report on new developments as they happen.
