Fire units from Una and Hilltop Fire Departments spent much of Tuesday evening fighting a fire at the old Saxon Fibers plant on Front Street in Una.
The fire broke out late Tuesday afternoon near an area where welders were working as part of the demolition of the old mill. The fire was brought under control in about an hour, but fire units remained on the scene as hotspots flared up. There were no injuries.
