People in Inman are cleaning up today after storms ripped through the area.

News Channel 7 visited First Street Thursday morning where a giant tree fell on a shed.

The storm knocked out power Wednesday night to many homes and businesses, but the power has now been restored.

After some rough weather moved through the area Wednesday, we will see another round of storms on Thursday afternoon. Look for showers early, then more thunderstorms by the afternoon.

Highs will be on the cool side, with most areas staying in the 70s. A few showers early Friday with more sun and warmer temperatures this weekend.

It was a debris field in Inman Wednesday night, after storms rolled across the Upstate, leaving damaged trees, homes, and downed power lines.

The hardest hit area was Inman--Trees and power lines are down all across the town, and hundreds are without power.

Several streets are blocked, however there are no reports of injuries.

Water streamed over several roads during the height of the storms.

Winds up to 80mph were reported in some areas.

The storms continued over Union, Laurens and Newberry Counties, dumping heavy rain, and flooding low lying areas.
