It is almost like being able to look into a crystal ball and predict the future.
Greer Police are now going to tell you exactly where they will be set up running radar and traffic enforcement efforts.
"Our goal is not to go out and write tickets. Our goal is to just reduce collisions," Cpl. Mixon Eldridge said of the new initiative. "We're hoping by letting citizens know where the problems are, and where we're going to be, that will slow them down before we have to take the enforcement part."
The enforcement locations will be determined by the highest crash numbers and citizen complaints. The first stop Monday will be Wade Hampton Boulevard and South Buncombe Road. The intersection had the most accidents in the city for August with 8 crashes.
If you're interested in finding out where the enforcement will be, tune in to Charter Cable channel 15 or go to Greer's website starting Monday, September 14th.
