Can-Tastic Sculptures Give Hope To Local Food Bank

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A can-tastic display in Greenville is sure to go a long way in keeping people from being hungry this fall.

The 3rd annual Canstruction Greenville fundraiser is in full swing at McAlister Square.

The works of art are made out of canned goods and non-perishable food items. Five groups have built creations for the display and in building the works of art they have brought in around 25,000 pounds of food to be donated. All the food will be donated to United Ministries.

In the past three years, Canstruction Greenville has donated around 100,000 pounds of food for the needy.
