Investigators said one of the robbery suspects fired shots inside the store with a handgun and got away.
Pickens County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for armed robbers. Investigators said the suspects walked into the "Hot Spot" convenience store at 3910 Calhoun Memorial Highway around 4:30 a.m. Monday and fired shots inside the store with a handgun. The suspects got away, but the clerk was not hurt.
Deputies say the two stole money and packs of cigarettes, but they do not know how much was stolen.
