The Greenville Police Department has identified potential officer misconduct and is currently conducting an internal investigation. The investigation is being conducted by the Internal Affairs Unit and officers have been placed on administrative duties pending the conclusion of the investigation. News Channel 7 has learned some Greenville Police Officers are facing an internal affairs investigation.
Spokesman Sgt. Jason Rampey confirms a complaint began the investigation.
No details are being released about what happened or what kind of misconduct may have happened due to the ongoing investigation.
