Highway Patrol Searching For Truck Involved In Greenville County Hit And Run

South Carolina Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of a small, dark colored pickup truck which left the scene of an accident Thursday night.

South Carolina Highway Patrol tells News Channel 7 they are searching for the driver of a small, dark colored pickup truck which left the scene of an accident Thursday night. Troopers say the collision happened between midnight and 12:15 a.m. on Conwell Street in Greenville County which is close to Anderson Road. Investigators believe the moped was hit when the pickup truck that was traveling north on Conwell Street and went left of center on the road.

Troopers say John Samuel was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the truck may also have damage to the front right.
