This initiative will allow Entertainment to provide even more focus on the discounts, promotions and fundraising aspects of the business as we grow. As a result, we will not be renewing the Duncan, South Carolina distribution facility lease, which expires June 2010.
Specific plans regarding product fulfillment and distribution activities post June 2010 will be announced at a later date. We will be communicating the details of the transition schedule to those employees over the next several weeks.
We understand the anguish layoffs cause in personal lives and the local community. Over the coming months, Entertainment is committed to assisting affected employees through this transition. We will have representation regularly onsite in Duncan to provide support including experts in resume development and job search skills to assist employees. We truly appreciate the employees at Duncan and are very proud of their dedication and support of the Sally Foster brand and mission.
