Three vehicles were involved in a fatal accident on I-85 southbound Monday, according to troopers.
The accident, which happened near the Brockman-McClimon Road interchange near the 57 mile marker (4.3 miles south of Greer).
The three vehicles were an SCDOT dump truck, a tractor trailer and a car, Trooper Bill Rhyne said.
Jessica Lyn Wright, 37, of Spartanburg, was pronounced dead at Spartanburg Regional after being partially ejected from her 2009 Ford.
Charles Ray Smith, of Casar, N.C., drove a 1992 GMC tractor trailer in the accident. Smith was not injured.
James Michael Pridmore drove the dump truck. The Inman man was not injured.
The coroner said an autopsy and toxicology report will be completed on Wright.
The Highway Patrol is also investigating the accident.
Traffic was backed up to the Highway 290 exit in Duncan (about five miles) after the accident.
