A caller to Crime Stoppers informed deputies Monday that Janes was at a business near Clinton in Laurens County. He was arrested there without incident.

Janes is charged with 11 charges of fraudulent checks, five charges of obtaining money or property under false pretenses, two charges of grand larceny and one charge of burglary second degree.

Janes is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on $46,000 bond.
