Concern is growing on an Upstate college campus after the disappearance of a student. This, as police are concerned for his safety.
21-year-old Eric Robertson is a student at Presbyterian College in Clinton.
Investigators say he was last seen in around 11-o'clock Monday night.
Classmates say they have been getting regular updates from administrators as the school waits word as to where Robertson is.
The junior--from Summerville SC, lives on campus. His car is still there--but he isn't.
Clinton public safety plan to continue searching Friday, with the help of SLED agents, DNR and other local agencies.
They don't think Robertson is a threat to others, but say he has mental health issues that greatly concern them. Authorities could not expand on those issues, due to privacy reasons.
However, the public safety chief told News Channel 7, those health issues were deemed serious enough to call in back up in the search.
Students on campus say Robertson is a nice but quiet student, involved in theater and other activities.
If you have seen Robertson, please contact the Clinton Department of Public Safety at 866-833-7510 or Crime Stoppers at 68-CRIME.
