A South Carolina minister has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy.

Multiple media outlets reported the Rev. Johnny William Cabe of York was arrested Tuesday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, committing lewd act on a child under 16 and unlawfully practicing medicine.

The arrest warrant states that the 50-year-old pastor of Riverside Baptist Church in Rock Hill inappropriately touched the boy at the church. The warrant says Cabe performed an examination of the child and diagnosed a physical ailment and prescribed a treatment.

York County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Baker says the sexual conduct occurred between December 2008 and June 2010.

Cabe's attorney, Thomas McKinney, did not immediately return a phone message early Wednesday.
