The Henderson County Sheriff's Office has arrested a mother for intentionally ingesting drugs.
Tracy Leigh Delozier has been charged with one count of Felony Child Abuse and two counts of Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
Deputies say the investigation found that Delozier intentionally caused her two minor children to ingest cocaine, marijuana and other narcotics. These children are aged two and nine.
Additionally as a result of the arrest and continued investigation by Special Victims Unit Detectives and Drug Enforcement Agents, Delozier was charged with Possession with intent to Sell and or Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling to keep or sell controlled substances and Felony Possession of Marijuana.
Delozier is in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $ 59,000.00 secured bond and was scheduled to appear in Henderson County District Court Thursday.
“This crime was truly depraved and twisted. It was a complex investigation and required very methodical but fast work by our detectives to arrest this suspect," Sheriff Rick Davis said in a news release.
