Nurse Impersonator Busted For Stealing From Doctor's Offices

A 51-year old woman is accused of impersonating a nurse and custodian in order to rip off doctor's office employees in Greenville County

A 51-year old woman is accused of impersonating a nurse and custodian in order to rip off doctor's office employees in Greenville County, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. Ann Marie Moriarty is charged with multiple fraud charges as well as burglary and larceny charges. Moriarty is accused of stealing from employee's purses while they were out of the offices.

This is not the first time Moriarty has been accused of pulling this type of crime. According to investigators, she is wanted in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia on similar charges. She is believed to have been committing similar crimes along the East Coast since 2002.

Moriarty is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center.
