A man is being sought in connection with a shooting Tuesday night.
The Greer Police say that 30-year old Travis O'Neal Jones has been charged with assault and battery with intent to kill and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Jones, who is still on the loose, allegedly shot the person in the upper thigh at a residence at 10 21st Street in Greer shortly after 7 pm Tuesday night. The unidentified victim was transported to Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Jones is a black male, approximately 5-foot-7 and 190-pounds. His last known address is 525 United Circle, Apt. B., in Greer.
