The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery and attempted murder which occurred Saturday, July 17th at the Quick Stop Shop located at 700 Poinsett Highway.
The clerk at the Quick Stop told Deputies that around 3:38 pm that two young males, both appearing to be between the ages of 18 - 25 years of age, entered the store and got a drink and walked to the counter.
The clerk stated that each subject pulled a handgun out and pointed at him demanding money from the register. After the clerk gave them the money from the register, both subjects shot the clerk multiple times and left the store in an unknown direction. The clerk was transported to the Greenville Memorial Hospital where is now in stable condition.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone who have information and want to remain anonymous to please call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
