An Anderson woman won $200,000 after playing the South Carolina Education Lottery.

An Anderson woman won $200,000 after playing the South Carolina Education Lottery.

According to SC Education Lottery Officials, the 54-year old woman chose not to reveal her identity, but won the prize playing a Hot Hot Hot instant ticket. Lottery Officials say that the woman purchased the ticket at High Volume in Anderson and as a result of the winning ticket, High Volume will receive a $2,000 retailer commission.

South Carolina Education Lottery officials say that approximately 97 cent of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailers commissions and payment to contractors for goods and services.
