Panthers Wrapping Up Thursday Training Schedule

Wofford College has been the summer home of the Carolina Panthers for 16 years.

The Panthers’ started their last practice for Wednesday at 3 p.m. The team held an earlier practice at 9 a.m.

The Panthers are training in Spartanburg for the 16th season. Players reported and moved into dormitories at Wofford College Wednesday. 

The team’s next practice will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Five Panther Pals will be chosen near the end of practice Tuesday.

Panther Pals offers children 6-13, a chance to watch part of practice from field level and  spend time with a player afterwards. 

Kids can register to be a Panther Pal at the welcome tent located outside the entrance to the practice fields. Five names will be randomly chosen about 30 minutes before the end of practice.

The children selected will receive a Panther Pal T-shirt and will be escorted to a special area to watch the conclusion of practice.

Training camp concludes in Spartanburg on August 18. 

The team utilizes the 60,000 square-foot Richardson Physical Activities Building during their stay at Wofford
