The Tigerville Fire Department responded to a fire at a mobile home on McKinney Road in Travelers Rest. There is no information on injuries at this point.
The call came in about 9:30 a.m., according to Tigerville Fire Chief Russell Ledford.
Nobody was at home at the time of the fire.
When firefighters arrived on scene the house was on fire.
They managed to get set-up quickly and get the fire knocked down.
No one was injured.
The investigation is still on-going and no cause has been determined.
The living room area was destroyed and they managed to save quite a few valuables in the bedrooms and other areas.
The American Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
