Local teens with a license are being told to take a test, and pay a fee, if they want to drive to school.
The principal of JL Mann High School wants to require all driving students to take a four hour driving class called "Alive at 25."
The class costs 35 dollars to participate and those who pass the class will be allowed to park their cars at the high school during class.
The Greenville County School district supports the new policy.
If students can't afford the $35 dollar fee for the class the school will help cover the cost.
The change goes into effect next school year.
