Upstate Mans Sells T-Shirts to Buy Food for the Hungry

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Having once needed a handout himself, an area man is trying to do his part to help feed the hungry.

Robert Case of Boiling Springs says while it's great that people help the needy over holidays, he'd like to see it all year round.

After feeling bad about letting some fish that he caught go bad, he decided to start a non-profit to donate food to Spartanburg area soup kitchen and homeless shelters.

He and his wife are raising the money to buy the food by selling t-shirts.

“Just felt in my heart that is what the Lord wanted me to do... if it helps feed four or five people, that's four or five people who won't go hungry today,” says Robert.

All the money raised from selling the shirts will go towards buying food for the kitchens and shelters.

If you are interested in buying a shirt or getting involved with Love and Fishes, you can call them at 864-814-7799.
