Military veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan are being urged to sign up for a special day at a South Carolina zoo for themselves and their families.
Officials at the Dorn VA Medical Center say veterans must sign up for the event at Columbia's Riverbanks Zoo on March 24 by Wednesday.
Prizes for children and veterans will be available. Veterans will get information about VA services.
