Man Dies In Overnight Shooting In Greenville County

GREENVILLE, SC --

A man is dead after a shooting at a home in Greenville County early Sunday morning.

Greenville County Deputy Coroner Tom Selfridge tells News Channel 7 that the coroner's office responded to a call around 1:25 am at a home at 208 New Dunham Bridge Road in Greenville County. Selfridge says that when they arrived they found a black male, identified as Renee Kevin Lounds, at the home deceased from a gunshot wound.

Selfridge says that the shooting has been ruled a homicide and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating. Attempts to reach the Sheriff's Office for further details has been unsuccessful.
